What are Trash Pickups?

Order a lot from Zomato, Zepto, or Amazon? Your packages often end up in the bin within seconds, creating mixed waste when combined with wet waste. Mixed waste complicates segregation, reduces material quality, and makes waste management more challenging.

Trash pickups allow you to dispose of your daily dry waste without needing to segregate it on your end. Consider this your first step toward sustainability, as we handle the segregation for you. Although recycling is costly, we recognize your efforts by awarding you Leaf Points, which you can use in our Susta-shop.

 

Note: Trash pickups are currently available only in select societies.

What are Recyclable Pickups?

Have segregated dry waste at home? Book a recyclable pickup and let us handle it responsibly. We're experts at this!

Recyclable pickups are for those proficient in segregation. Do your best to sort your waste, and during our visit, we’ll guide you on materials and provide a detailed breakdown based on our assessment and the weight of the materials.

When booking, you can check the rates (in both INR and Leaf Points), which are updated regularly according to market conditions. We strive to offer the best rates and ensure as many materials as possible are processed and recycled.

Remember, responsible sorting and recycling are costly. While we offer cash compensation, we strongly encourage donating your segregated waste to support robust recycling systems. And hey! This way you earn Leaf Points, which are equally enjoyable to use!

Policies

Post-Pickup Notification:
After your pickup is completed, we will notify you of its status.

 

Trash Pickup Rewards:
For trash pickups, you will receive Leaf Points for your efforts.

 

Recyclable Pickup Details:
For recyclable pickups, you will receive a detailed breakdown of the materials handed over, including their exact weight and value in both INR and Leaf Points. You can choose to either:
 

Get Cash: Enter your UPI ID for payment processing.
Get Leaf Coins: The leaf coins will be instantaneously credited to your in-app wallet.

Payment Details:
- Payments are processed only after the UPI ID is shared.
- Payment processing takes up to 3 working days.

Ownership and Responsibility:
All materials collected are presumed to be owned by you. We do not take responsibility for any items reported as stolen, and you will be held liable for the same.

 

Material Clarification:
If any materials are unclear to you, our team will provide clarity. Only with your agreement will these materials be processed.

 

Unsegregated Pickups:
For unsegregated pickups, items below 1 kg for metals and below 5 kg for plastic and paper will be considered as ‘Mixed Waste.’

 

Orders:
All our orders get delivered in 7-10 working days depending on the Brand that you have ordered from. Please Read the Brand’s guidelines on their website to understand their shipping cycles.
